Bangawoyo Deep Standard followers, friends, family and newcomers. (That’s welcome in Korean) Welcome to the brand-spanking new Deep Standard. It has been a long time coming, but finally…it’s here. I actually finished with it a long time ago, however, I was nervous about launching my baby. I want to divulge a little into the new look and give some insight as to what got us here.

First off, the old layout was pretty much rushed. I was obsessed with having a layout where the posts showed two on a row. The one thing I didn’t really plan for was the HEIGHT aspect. I had to declare a height, which limited what could show on the front page.

I integrated Twitter onto the site a way better than before. And also jazzed up the comment section (and I think this comment section design is a first on the web, but I could be wrong.)

With a new look, comes a new way of thinking. Of course we will continue to post what we see as being entertaining, amusing and eye catching to me and those around me, but I wanted to also be more opinionated and get YOU, the reader, more involved at Deep Standard. So we won’t ONLY post about the latest Kanye West song and I definitely won’t try to keep up with my homie Eskay at Nah Right any longer (which is virtually IMPOSSIBLE! LOL.)
So expect to see more of the same, with the addition of new articles and a few other sprinkles of “newness.” I am also in the process of making a network of blogs that will encompass everything that we do at Deep Standard.
